"I can say for certain this is the most important thing I have ever done in my life.”

We originally brought Lyceum into our organization because we were looking for something more proactive. We already had an EAP and other wellness resources, but we wanted to help people before they reached the point of burnout — not wait until someone was struggling, taking a leave, or needed significant support to recover. From a business perspective, that simply makes sense. But what I came to realize is that Lyceum goes well beyond preventing burnout. It develops people. It helps them become more resilient, self-aware and deliberate; communicate and navigate interpersonal challenges more effectively; make better decisions; and perform at a higher level. By bringing them all together, we've created a much higher-performing environment. I’ve experienced that impact personally. Before Lyceum, I was often pushing myself to go, go, go. My stress was getting higher, I was feeling overwhelmed and anxious, and it was affecting how I showed up at work and in my relationships. Lyceum helped me move from that varying state of anxiousness and chaos to a level of calm and mental clarity. I’m much more grounded and deliberate in how I respond to challenges, and that has had a radical impact on my effectiveness at work, my relationships and my overall happiness. I’ve worked in HR for about 25 years and have been exposed to countless wellness programs, EAPs, courses, webinars, training programs and other forms of development. Lyceum is different because it brings so much of what people need together. It’s proactive wellness, leadership development, personal growth and real-world application — not as separate initiatives, but as one integrated experience. If you care about your people, you don’t want to wait until they’re struggling to invest in them. You want to help them stay well, grow, become stronger leaders and performers, and accomplish more. To me, offering Lyceum within an organization is a no-brainer.

Before Lyceum, I would have said I was a solid seven out of 10. Life was good and I was doing well, but when things got stressful, I didn’t always have the bandwidth or strategies to handle everything the way I wanted to. Lyceum has changed that. I’m more present, I have more clarity in my decisions, I manage pressure differently, and I’m much better at deciding what actually deserves my attention. I don’t carry every stressful thing from one part of my life into another. I’m more present with my wife and daughter, and I’m showing up better at work too. During my time in Lyceum, I made the leap to start my own company. We grew to five employees and ten clients within the first five months. More recently, I went through an incredibly demanding stretch — growing the business, onboarding employees and clients, being a husband and dad, and training competitively. In the past, my performance would have suffered. This time, it didn’t dip. It actually got better. It has influenced the kind of leader I want to be as well. I’m intentionally building a culture where people trust one another, can have uncomfortable conversations, listen to different perspectives, and engage in healthy debate — the same kind of environment I’ve experienced in Lyceum. If you want your people to perform at a high level without losing themselves when things get hard, this work is incredibly valuable. Why settle for a team that’s good if you can help them become great?

Lyceum has strengthened my resilience and my ability to self-motivate, communicate, and lead. I love these these mental workouts. They've created real growth — helping me understand and manage my triggers, stay grounded in a fast-paced world, and make decisions with clarity and intention. It’s changed how I show up, with a focus on who I want to be and why. Over the past year, life tested that growth in ways I couldn’t have anticipated. Fresh into a promotion and leading a new team at work, and with two young kids at home, my husband underwent back surgery. A few days later, my dad had a major heart attack — he was in a coma for eight days and spent three weeks in the ICU. My plate was already full, now it was overflowing. Through all of it though, I felt strong. I relied on the routines and tools I built through Lyceum to stay steady, clear-headed, and present when it mattered most. I was still making critical decisions and supporting both our family and my team through an incredibly emotional time. I didn't need to take time off work and my performance never dipped. At the same time, I’ve been intentionally reinvesting in my relationship with my husband — and it’s been deeply rewarding. Lyceum gave me the perspective to recommit in a more thoughtful, grounded way. Lyceum has genuinely changed my life. Because of it, I am a stronger — and happier — spouse, mother, friend, employee, and leader.

I’ve tried executive coaching and therapy before, but nothing has impacted my life like Lyceum – and at a fraction of the price too. Now I feel more energized, engaged, and productive. My performance at work has never been better. My relationships are deeper. I’m more present as a husband and father... Even though I’ve got a lot on my plate, I feel less stressed. Instead I’m calm and focused, and in control of my emotions. I’m more confident. I’m more comfortable leading and I’m taking risks I’ve always wanted to take. I’m taking better care of myself - mentally and physically - and it shows. Lyceum has changed my life. I honestly can’t recommend it enough.

I’ve invested in my own growth in a lot of different ways — therapy, executive coaching, professional networks, physical training — and I genuinely didn’t expect Lyceum to have the impact it has. What makes it different is that it isn’t focused on one narrow part of you. It’s helped me become much more self-aware and resilient, make decisions with greater intention, and go into difficult conversations with more clarity, kindness, and directness. I’ve seen those changes show up at work, in my marriage, with my family and friends, and in how I show up as a person. And the results aren’t theoretical — you start seeing and feeling them as you go. From an organizational perspective, I think Lyceum gives companies something they don’t usually have. There are only so many ways to invest in and grow talented people — compensation, titles, increased scope, executive coaching. Lyceum is an investment not only in what someone produces at work, but in who they are becoming. That matters. When an organization invests in you that way, you feel valued. And when people are more confident, self-aware, resilient, creative, and inspired, that inevitably carries into how they lead and perform. If you genuinely value the growth of your people, Lyceum is an incredibly powerful lever to have.

I was already committed to becoming the best version of myself. Joining Lyceum wasn’t about fixing a problem or pulling me out of a crisis (I wasn’t at a 5 — I’d say a 7 or 8) it was about helping me stay oriented toward my personal “10” — showing up as my best, most grounded (and imperfect) version of myself, especially under pressure. I didn't need more theory, I needed structure, consistency, community, and a place to practice what actually matters: resilience, mindset, prioritizing my mental wellbeing, defining success on my own terms, understanding what the best version of me looks, sounds, and feels like. I’ll admit, I was a little uncomfortable before I started, but Lyceum met me exactly where I was. What stood out most was the immersive experience — the guidance, facilitation, and dialogue with other people who ‘get it’ — in a non-judgmental space. The topics were engaging and accessible, embodied and actionable. I learned to stop taking things personally, take meaningful risks, own my strengths, and develop a different relationship with “failure” or unfavourable outcomes. I gained clarity, became less reactive, and found myself bouncing back from challenging situations faster, and with confidence. At work, people are looking up to me for solutions and for calmness — being level-headed and making decisions under pressure. My relationship with my wife, with my kids, and with myself have all improved. I’m showing up at my best, and stronger for their benefit too. That means so much to me.

I’ve got a lot going on, and balance sometimes feels unattainable. Before I started in Lyceum I was dealing with a ton of anxiety. Now I’m so much calmer and more present. I feel so much better, so much more confident as that best version of me comes forward. I’ve been a part of other groups, courses, coaching and leadership training before, but this really is like nothing out there. This isn’t therapy, it’s full on support for literally being your best you and living your best life. Why wouldn’t you want to do that?

It was so important to me to become the version of myself I always believed I could be, but I didn’t know how to until I started in Lyceum. Now, I’ve made huge changes in my life. I’m in the best relationship I’ve ever had. My family life is better than ever. I’m in the best shape of my life. I got a great new job and I’ve already been promoted! I was depressed, angry, just kind of floundering – now I’m happier and more confident than ever. I have purpose and direction. Life is so much easier to go through. Lyceum sets me up for my whole week. I get excited for it, I get excited after it. It empowers me to really be a better me. I’m taking my life into my own hands and making it what I want it to be. I can say for certain this is the most important thing I have ever done in my life.

As an individual and a mom, I love that Lyceum gives me the opportunity to sit down, take time, and consistently work on myself and improve. I was already interested in self-improvement and bettering myself, but the problem was – all theory, no practice. I love the consistency and accountability of a weekly session, and working on yourself with the support of others is fantastic. I constantly want to improve and Lyceum is the best way to make it happen... I really love it.
